How It Started
In 1999 David Tinsley was driving his black 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible when he was stopped at a gas station. A man approached him and asked if he'd like to have his GTO in a music video and David happily agreed. He was bought on as part of the production team while filming the Brooks and Dunn video 'Missing You' and he was hooked. David and his wife Diana are well known in the local film community, and if you look hard enough, you might just spot them in a few movies and music videos. They've worked hard and built the most well known and respected business for quality picture cars in Tennessee. Before his retirement David and Diana had over 240, vehicles including an extremely rare 1960 Buick LeSabre!
Continuing a Legacy
Kevin loved machines and vehicles from a young age, and started working on vehicles professionally in 2001. During his 20+ year career he obtained multiple ASE Certifications working on a wide range of vehicles. Kevin and Katelyn met in 2012 and quickly found they both enjoyed attending swap meets, car shows, and cruise-ins. They've owned quite a few cars in their time together, from a 1957 Chevrolet Belair to a 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass. After his career in the automotive industry Kevin needed a change of scenery. A chance conversation with the Tinsleys led to a dream becoming a reality. In 2022 The Picture Car Company was born to continue the legacy the Tinsleys started 24 years ago!

Kevin Hanson
Chief Decision Maker (AKA Owner)
Kevin is a 20+ year automotive technician with a passion for classic cars. He handles the vehicle operations and is the technical expert. If you need to know if we have a specific vehicle or to discuss technical aspects of a vehicle, he's your guy!
Katelyn Hanson
Chaos Coordinator (AKA Operations Manager)
Katelyn is the main face of The Picture Car Company. She manages the coordination of inventory, scheduling, and bookkeeping. If you need something related to paperwork or scheduling save yourself time and ask for her first!
Dylan Carpenter
Do-er of all the things
Dylan is the newest face around the PCC Town. Dylan spent years in the automotive supply chain industry before taking the plunge into film work. With a love of cars and a mild caffeine addiction he was the perfect addition to PCC!
Caden Hanson
Music Fan
Caden spends his time learning how to play every instrument that exists, helping on set, or quietly drumming along to a song in his head. You can also find him looking for a snack or reading a book.
Elijah Hanson
Future Pilot
Eli spends his days watching every sport possible, annoying his dad, and changing the settings on things he knows his parents can't change back. If he's not doing something related to Air Force JROTC, he's on set looking for a Dr. Pepper.
Biscayne
Head of Security
Biscayne is our resident Security Expert. He's on the job just in case that FedEx driver isn't who he says he is. He's always on the look out and we are all much safer for his hard work and dedication.
Pepper
VP of Fun
Work got you down? Pepper is right there to remind you to take a break and try to steal her toy. She also wont mind if you never go back to work, couch cuddles and car rides are much more fun. If you're having a really bad day, she might bring you a toy to cheer you up, but, be warned you can't keep it. You are expected to throw it.
